Have YOU Met Miss Jones?
It will come as no surprise to anyone who’s met me, but I adore anything woods-y; be it animal or plant related, jewellery, homewares, stationery, anything! Chances are, if it has trees or woodland fauna on it, I either already have it or deeply covet it.
Therefore, the new Have You Met Miss Jones bone china pieces that arrived in recently make me jump up and down with delight, clapping my hands like a five-year-old child…
Behold:
I don’t know if I can think of anything cuter than those little acorn boxes with lids! Use them as egg-cups, perhaps, or jewellery holders, or just line them up on your counter and admire them. They’re $14 each (how about that, the perfect Secret Santa gift price…) The owl-topped trinket box ($22) is a clever place to store special things (earrings, notes, tiny hidden treasures), to be safely guarded by the wise old owl in charge.
And then:
Cockatoo lamp, $80
And the best one of them all (drum roll, please…):
Oh my! The adorable serin bird lamp ($85). It lights up just like the cockatoo and actually makes me smile every time I see it.
