Doppelgangers
Apparently, everybody has a nearly-identical twin somewhere in the world. This ‘doppelganger’ isn’t related to you and is someone you probably don’t even know, but they bear such a striking resemblance to you that people could mistake one of you for the other. I mention this because I had a rather amusing experience involving doppelgangers at our recent Lomovember exhibition. One of my friends ran up to me, very excited, to tell me that Akira Isogawa (the very famous Australian fashion designer) was there! My immediate reaction was disbelief and excitement, followed quickly by a demand to see the man himself… “There!” she shouted, pointing her finger straight at a bearded, long-haired man with drop-crotch pants who indeed looked very much the stylish, edgy fashion designer. I doubled over with laughter as I looked over and saw…. JOHANN!
Needless to say, I was very amused, and may have mocked my friend for just a little bit… but seriously, check this out:
The gentleman on the left is Akira Isogawa, and on the right we have the one and only Johann Kim, head Pigeon extraordinaire! Give Johann 20 years to get there, perhaps.
I’ve never met or heard of my doppelganger existing, but one day I hope to find one…
